March 18, 2010 - Several Hurt in Bus Accident in Detroit
Police said several people were injured Thursday morning when a Detroit Department of Transportation bus crashed into a catering truck.
Police Sgt. Eren Stephens Bell told The Detroit Free Press the truck apparently disregarded a traffic sign, leading to the morning accident.
The exact number of people injured was not released, but police officers responding to the incident said none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
Bell told the Free Press there were eight people on board the city bus when the accident took place.
